This is a document of what we are working towards in our photo-shoot. We have said how we will use lighting effectively in our photo-shoot and have used examples of other bands photo-shoots and analyzed what they have included in them.

Music Video Research

All Time Low have high similarity to Fall Out Boy so we hope we can incorporate so ideas from both Fall Out Boy and all time low for example the clothing used with is casual jeans and tops but are manly black white and red. There ideas in the video for the main idea being the female in the video. We can decide to make this a main focus in our Fall Out Boy music video. I think we can decide on a main structure with narrative and also live band. This will be a good idea as both Fall Out Boy and also all time low uses this.

Initial Ideas

This is our initial ideas containing where we would film our music video, the clothing the band would wear and generally what we would would include in our music video. We suggested using the college as a possible location for filming our music video as there were many rooms we could use for filming.
Another topic was the clothing the band could wear for the music video. We decided that the band would wear casual clothing as this was easier to do and would save time.

This is my 9 frame analysis of the song 'Fatlip' by Sum 41. In this music video, I talk about how each frame uses narrative, Mise en Scene, composition and camera angles. 

Lip Sync

This is our lip sync to the song 'What Makes You Beautiful' by One Direction. After recording it, we used Final Cut Express HD to edit our shots. WE used markers to help line up the audio waves to the correct part of the video, and looked for distinct beats where we could put our markers in.

Opie Portrait

This is our opie portrait that we created using photoshop. We took a photo using photobooth and used photoshop to create the Opie portrait. We learned about layers and use the magnetic lasso tool to capture different parts of the photo like the hair and face. I used the pencil tool to draw the features on my face. I used a pippet to match the colour of my hair and skin and used the paint bucket tool to fill in these colours.
